Drs. Brian and Amy Cheatham


Brian Cheatham O.D.

Dr. Brian Cheatham is from Talihina, Oklahoma.  He received his BS degree summa cum laude in Biology from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1998.  Following graduation from NSU, Dr. Cheatham, attended the Northeastern State University College of optometry and graduated with honors in 2002. During this optometric education, Dr. Cheatham, performed over two years of hospital-based rotations for WWW Hastings Indian Hospital.   After graduation, Dr. Cheatham worked at Triad Medical Clinic and Cataract Institute in Tulsa, where he specialized medical, surgical, and laser eye care.  He and Dr. Amy Cheatham bought Tulsa Vision Clinic in 2005.  For the past 18 years, Dr. Brian Cheatham has expanded his services to treat corneal diseases, utilizing specialty contact lenses, and provide multifaceted care to patients of all ages.  

As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Cheatham provides comprehensive eye exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision.  With his background, Dr. Cheatham is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.  Dr. Cheatham works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. 


Amy Cheatham, O.D.

Dr. Amy Cheatham was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Dr. Cheatham graduated from Oklahoma State University summa cum laude in 1997.  From there, she attended Northeastern State University College of Optometry and graduated with honors in 2001.  Dr. Amy Cheatham has worked at Tulsa Eye Consultants for the past 22 years, where she specializes in diseases of the eye, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and pre and post-operative cataract surgery.

She also treats patients with severe anterior segment diseases, emphasizing dry eyes.   Dr Amy Cheatham continues to work at Tulsa Eye Consultants and joined TVC twice weekly, specializing in dry eye treatment and utilizing our latest technology, the OPTilight IPL-the first FDA-approved IPL for dry eyes. 

Drs. Brian and Amy Cheatham married in 2001 and have two children.   Outside of work, the Cheathams enjoy church, the lake, snow-skiing, kids sporting events, and spending time with their family and friends.
